Pete Peterson of Port Alberni, BC, was the rigger and was responsible for the body and controls of Harry Hardy's Typhoon. He was partnered with Vic Bell, who was the engine mechanic. Harry comments that without these two men, he would not have been able to do what he did. Harry held these men in the highest regard as did he for all ground crew.
