Vic Bell was part of Harry Hardy's ground crew. Vic was responsible for the engine. He was partnered with Pete Peterson of Port Alberni, BC, who was the rigger and was responsible for the body and controls. Harry comments that without these two men, he would not have been able to do what he did. Harry held these men in the highest regard -- as he did all the ground crew.
